Rick Gibbins
I was born in Washington, D.C. and lived in the shadow of the U.S. Capitol for the first 3 years. Soon thereafter the family moved to the suburbs of Washington D.C. growing up in Montgomery County, MD. In December 1970, I was accepted as a police officer candidate with Montgomery County, MD. During my 27 years in law enforcement, I was tasked with an assortment of assignments which I found each exciting and challenging. As my second career for the last 16 years, I have been a partner in Hawkeye Realty, a small real estate firm. I have since retired. I have been blessed with 2 children from a previous marriage, Rick Jr. & Lorie Ann and 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The inspiration of my life, Louise Goodman, and I have been married for 20 years. I thank her for leading me to the spiritual awakening that led to my profession of faith in 2001. We both have been members of LC3 since 2001 and have enjoyed leadership in small groups, Project NOAH, LC3 Kenya Kids and serving when needed.
