Doors open for Youth Group at 5 PM for 6th-12th graders. Dinner ($1) will be served at 5:45 PM.  5-5:45 PM is a time of fellowship and games (like 9 square, gaga ball, ping pong, foosball, air hockey, etc.). If you love hanging out and playing games, arrive at 5 PM.  If you would rather skip the game time, just come at 5:45 PM and join us for dinner. If you have never completed a "Youth Medical Release Form", please scroll to the bottom of this page to download the form and bring it with you to Youth Group (one form per child - please note form is two pages).  If you don't have access to a printer, this form will be available at the check-in table at the beginning of Youth Group. You are encouraged to bring a friend with you to Youth Group!  All 6th-12th graders are always welcomed even if they don't attend church at LC3 but remember they are required to have the "Youth Medical Release Form" filled out.

Youth Group Dismissal Plan

Youth Group ends at 7:40 PM.  Please pick up your child at covered drive through entrance only.  As you wait in line, one of our youth workers will come to your passenger side window and ask the name of the child(ren) you are picking up so we can announce their name(s) and let them know that their ride has arrived.  The pick up line gets pretty long so remember it's OK to pick up as late as 7:50 PM.

Youth Group Meal Information

One of our biggest needs is help preparing and serving meals each week!  Please consider helping provide a meal at Youth Group this fall!  We ask families to help provide a meal once in the fall semester and once in the spring semester.

Volunteers Needed!

If you are interested in working with our youth ministry on a regular basis (or maybe driving youth at a special event), please contact Austin Bond.  If there is a specific event you would like to help with, please notify us at least one week in advance so we will have time to process background check paperwork.

Exchange Students

If you are interested in hosting a Foreign Exchange Student (15-17 years old), please contact Austin Bond.  We love having exchange students as part of LC3 Youth!  Remember if you don't have a child in high school, your exchange student can ride the bus to and from school!  If you can't commit to an entire school year but would be willing to host a foreign exchange student for 6-8 weeks, please contact Austin Bond ASAP. There are currently 27 foreign youth needing a welcoming family.  Unfortunately, the St. James school zone is currently at its max for foreign exchange students.

Youth Praise Band Try Outs

If you are interested in trying out for an instrumental or vocal position with the LC3 Youth Praise Band, please contact Austin Bond.

Local Mission

The Community Lunch (aka our local Soup Kitchen) is looking for young men and young women (middle school or older) to volunteer on Wednesday, August 14. We can document community service hours if needed.
